Community Support
York Hospital is a small community hospital with a big heart. Our patients are our neighbors and friends. We know it is important to give back, and to provide services to care for all.
York Hospital gives back to the community in many ways. We partner with many schools, civic organizations and non-profit groups to support programs and services centered on healthy living, disease management, and community partnerships.
We also provide free care to many in our community who cannot afford care. On average, we provide over $6 million in free care to community members. We also instituted the innovative Help at Every Level Program (HELP) to help make care more affordable for those with high deductibles or no insurance at all, but who earn too much to qualify for free care.
We offer many programs and services to strengthen access to care such as low-cost transportation, meal & prescription delivery, and many home care services.
